The combination of the vessels speed and shallow draught together with the jet propulsion unit make it an ideal allround vessel, especially suited for work in shallow waters. The inclusion of platform access on the stern is intended for "Man Overboard", rescue and recovery, or easy access for divers using the vessel. The design and weight of the vessel makes road transport a feasible option if required for work on inland waterways or more distant locations.
About the vessel:
Safety
The vessel “Hazali” is licensed by the Irish Government to carry 12 passengers and complies with all current safety requirements. A full inventory of safety equipment is carried on board including, 16 person life raft, lifejackets, VHF radios, EBIRB, radar, fire fighting system etc.
The Skipper is qualified and licensed by the Irish Government and has over 18 years experience on the RNLI Arklow lifeboat.
Vessel Details.
The “Hazali” is a 9.4metre aluminium water jet driven monohull with a beam of 3.4 metres and draught of 700mm. Top speed 30 knots and cruising speed is 25 knots. Fuel capacity is 800 litres.
The vessel is powered by a 370 hp Yanmar engine driving a Hamilton HJ322 water jet propulsion unit. Designed by Global Marine Design Australia and built in 2006 by Arklow Marine Services, to Government Marine Survey Office licensing requirements.
Equipment on Board:
GPS Plotter, echo sounder, 2 x VHF radios, Radar, EPIRB. 24v & 220v power supply, heated cabin, toilet, sink, stove, microwave oven etc.
(Any additional equipment can easily be installed if requested by client).
Copies of: Safety Statement, Tax Clearance certificate, Safepass, Public and Employers / Vessels insurance, P5 licence and Skippers ticket are available for inspection on request.
